Meet Our Staff!

Owner: Alexa Flutie

Alexa Flutie is a professional dancer, choreographer, coach, and model with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance and Kinesiology from Dean College. She has performed professionally as a member of both the New England Patriots Cheerleaders and the San Diego Charger Girls and has worked with the Expansion Crew of Status Quo from America’s Best Dance Crew. Alexa has choreographed for Dancing with the Stars and toured nationally as a choreographer and backup dancer for recording artist Cassie Cardelle. In addition to her accomplishments in the dance industry, she was crowned Miss Massachusetts United States in 2010 and has built a successful modeling career, appearing in Sports Illustrated, Maxim, ESPN, Budweiser, and Disney Bridal campaigns and features. Throughout her career, Alexa has combined her expertise in dance, athletic performance, and kinesiology to train and mentor dancers and athletes while developing successful competitive and training dance programs.

General Manager: Ashauntie Reid

Ashuntie has been dancing for over 17 years and has over 9 years of teaching and coaching experience. A former college dance team athlete, she has received extensive ballet training under Michelle Ottley-Fisher and further developed her passion for the arts while attending Lavilla School of the Arts. She is dedicated to helping dancers build strong technique, confidence, and a lifelong love of dance.

Ballet Director: LeeAnn Powers

LeeAnn Powers is a highly accomplished ballet instructor with over 25 years of training in classical ballet, tap, modern, and jazz, as well as more than 15 years of teaching experience. She specializes in classical and pre-professional ballet instruction, including pre-pointe, pointe, variations, and partnering, while also teaching modern, contemporary, lyrical, conditioning, and improvisation. LeeAnn received her early training from prestigious academies including Las Vegas Ballet, Pinkerton Ballet, Boston Ballet, Broward Ballet, and Vero Beach Ballet before earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with an emphasis in classical ballet and choreography from Stephens College. Following graduation, she performed and choreographed with contemporary ballet companies, danced with Birmingham Ballet, and continued inspiring dancers through instruction. Her teaching philosophy focuses on developing strong technical foundations, artistic expression, confidence, and discipline, equipping students with the skills needed to pursue professional dance careers while fostering life skills that extend beyond the studio. Throughout her career, she has taught and performed with organizations including Dance By Holly Rock, Nicole Cote School of Dance, Missouri Contemporary Ballet, AROVA Contemporary Ballet, Birmingham Ballet, and Steeple Arts Academy of Dance.

Toddler Dance: Kelly McHugh

Kelly brings over 15 years of experience working with children and a lifelong passion for dance. After training in a variety of dance styles for 12 years as a competitive studio dancer, she now shares her love of dance by teaching our toddler and preschool classes and coaching our Tiny Competition Team. Working with dancers ages 2–8, Kelly focuses on building confidence, strong foundational skills, and a love for performing. She holds degrees in Elementary and Reading Education, along with certifications in Preschool, English Language Learners (ELL), and Gifted Education, and has also coached both JV and Varsity high school cheerleading teams. Kelly is dedicated to creating a positive, safe, and encouraging environment where every child feels valued, inspired to learn, and empowered to reach their fullest potential both in and out of the studio.

Technique, Combo, & Team Coach: Addy Gannon

With 18 years of experience in the dance world, Addy Gannon brings an elite level of expertise and a passion for teaching. Her journey in the competitive dance world began at just six years old, spanning across studio, school, and Allstar competitions. This diverse background earned her two Dance Worlds titles and an Allstar World title. Addy specializes in a wide range of genres, including contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and ballet. Beyond her technical accolades, she is deeply dedicated to creating an uplifting, high-energy environment in every class. Addy is passionate about motivating every dancer, pushing them to master new skills while instilling a lifelong love for the art of dance.

Jr Coach: Harper

Harper has been dancing since the age of three and has trained extensively in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, and musical theater. In addition to her competitive and studio training, Harper has performed in multiple musical theater productions, where she combines her passion for dance, acting, and storytelling. She is passionate about sharing her love of dance with others and currently serves as a junior coach, helping teach and mentor the youngest dancers at her studio. Harper is committed to continually growing as an artist and regularly seeks out opportunities to train through master classes, dance conventions, college intensives, and workshops with industry professionals. She has also had the opportunity to model for dance activewear brands, showcasing her love of dance beyond the stage. Looking toward the future, Harper hopes to attend the University of South Carolina to major in Musical Theater and pursue a professional career in dance and the performing arts.
